Estampas / 1999
Con Paula somos amigos desde el curso con Eduardo Gil, compramos simultáneamente la Olympus Epic: el viejo sueño de andar siempre con la cámara... Sacamos fotos sin un tema preestablecido, que luego editamos juntos. Estampas se lo podría definir como lo surreal de lo cotidiano, sensaciones compartidas y potenciadas por el otro. Firmamos todas las fotos Burd-Salgueiro sin especificar cuál es de cada uno. La edición fue de 4 cajitas de 10 x 14cm, en cada una 20 fotos originales firmadas (un total de 80 fotos). Para mostrarlas las proyectamos en un audiovisual con música compuesta e interpretada por Willy Cooper.

Vignettes / 1999
I’ve been friends with Paula since Eduardo Gil’s photography course. We bought an Olympus Epic at the same time…the old dream of always having the camera at hand…we took photos without a predetermined theme and later edited them together. Vignettes could be defined as the surreal in the everyday, sensations shared and strengthened by the other. We signed all the photos Burd-Salgueiro without specifying who took which. There were 4 boxes in the edition with a total of 80 photos. Each 10 x 14cm box contained 20 original, signed photos . To exhibit the project we used an audiovisual projection with music composed and realised by Willy Cooper.
